Rent My Car Out (rentmycarout.com) is run by Jarrod Redden in Peachtree City, Georgia. Independent — not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Turo, Inc.
What is here today: articles for someone listing a personal car in the US, a browser-side take-home calculator, Amazon product links on the gear pages, and a $19 digital Starter Kit.
What we collect
This site does not have accounts, a login, an email list, comment forms, or a chat widget. We do not set first-party cookies. We do not run Google Analytics or any tracking pixel we added ourselves.
If you only read the pages and use the calculator, we do not ask you for a name, email, or payment. The only information that may exist without a form is ordinary host access logs (below) and whatever Amazon or the kit payment page collects when you leave this site.
We do not sell personal information.
The calculator
The take-home calculator on the homepage runs entirely on your device. Daily rate, occupancy, loan, cleaning — those inputs are not sent to us. There is no account, no login, and no save-to-server.
Close the tab and the figures are gone. That is the whole design.
Hosting logs
The company that hosts this site may keep typical access logs: IP address, browser user-agent, the path you requested, and the time.
We do not use those logs for marketing.
Amazon Associates
Some pages disclose Amazon Associates links (Trackers, Gear, Lockbox, Keys, Cabin, Tolls, and the footer on every page). Clicking a product link sends you to amazon.com. Amazon may set cookies and process the purchase under Amazon’s privacy policy. If you buy through those links, Rent My Car Out may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
The $19 kit
The Starter Kit is a $19 digital download — spreadsheet, 24 guest messages, 14-day checklist. Checkout is on a separate payment page. Card numbers stay with that page, not on this site.
Payment and the email used to deliver the files are handled on the payment page (Gumroad), not stored on rentmycarout.com. Their privacy policy applies to that purchase.
