You searched “how old to rent out my car on Turo” or “Turo host age 21.” US hosts are generally 21. That is Turo’s published listing rule, not a forum guess. Host age is not guest age.

The short answer
Turo’s page about listing a vehicle in the US opens with Turo’s sentence: You must be at least 21 years old to list a vehicle in the US. Create a Turo account first. Age is one requirement, not the whole list.
Turo’s Terms of service say the Services are intended for hosts who are 21 or older, except in the United Kingdom and France, where Turo permits hosts age 18 to list eligible vehicles. This page is written for US hosts.
“Turo host age 21” is the US rule as Turo publishes it today. Confirm the live page before you spend money on photos or a lockbox.
Two different ages
People mix these up because both numbers show up as “21.” They are not the same door.
Host (you, listing the car). US: 21. Turo’s listing page and Turo’s Terms both say it. The 18-year-old host exception in the Terms is UK and France only.
Guest (the person booking). Turo’s page about booking a car in the US uses the guest’s age at booking, not at trip start:
Guests between 18 and 24 pay Turo’s young driver fee. Turo sets that fee. You do not invent a second “under 25 tax” as an Extra. How extras actually work is on Turo extras.

What 21 does not unlock by itself
The same Turo listing-help page lists the rest next to age: meet vehicle eligibility, have valid car insurance, meet legal and insurance rules for your region, acknowledge Turo’s vehicle tracking and technology policy, and complete host orientation before the listing can go live.

Turo also tells you to create the account first, then start “Become a host.” Being a guest at 18 does not turn the same account into a live listing the morning you turn 21. Finish orientation. Confirm Turo’s current listing page.
